Consumer Club
In our school, Consumer Club is started in 2005, as per Government Order regarding Consumer Rights and Security Act to create awareness among school students. This unit has been functioning well for the past 15 years with 50 students. Meetings are conducted every month in our school campus.
Our Motto is “Aware, Alert, Act”.
This unit insists the students to be in the right path and makes them learn Consumer Security Act 1981, Indian Laws, Rights and Responsibilities under the guidance of Mrs.Sakunthala Srinivasan, Head of “The Trichy Payaneetalar Iyyakkam” and the Consumer Co-ordinator. Our students participated in the World Consumer Rights Day on 15th March and National Consumer Day on 24th December competitions and won many prizes , Trophy and Shield from the Honourable Collector.
