This unit has 40 students from class VI to IX. A weekly session is conducted  every Tuesday, where the students of NGC unit are educated various environmentally concerned topics which include  
                   a) Maintenance and classification of biodegradable and non-biodegradable  wastes,  
                   b) nurturing the saplings and garden in our premises,  
                   c) ways of preventing the depletion of Ozone Layer,  
           d) importance of establishing our own herbal garden comprising of herbs and trees of medicinal value. 
                    The World Environment Day falling on 5th of June, involves active participation of our students, by organizing rallies to create awareness among public on the importance of a Clean and Healthier Environment.    On the 16th of September which marks the World Ozone Day, the school conducts competitions and events like Elocution, Quiz, Drawing  Competition, Essay Writing, etc, to educate the students about the climatic changes and its effects on global warming which causes an adverse effect in the Ozone Layer. The students are also awarded prizes on that day.
